independent artists and creators. Our primary focus is delivering high print quality comics, magazines, TTRPG materials, posters, and more for creatives. Printing Prep
Here are some guidelines for the file
when it is ready to print. We will check your files, and make sure they are compatible with our printer. If there is any issues found, we will let you know and you can either fix them yourself, or for a small fee, we can adjust them for you.
The file should be in PDF format at least 300 dpi for highest quality. The print file size must also correspond to the size of the desired print. Please refer to the guidelines to make sure the file has the proper amount of bleed on the edges. Other things to keep in mind in addition to the print size, is the kind of paper you'd like to use- paperweight and coating on the paper such as satin or gloss.
A booklet, such as a comic or magazine,
must be in one PDF file with the pages in order with all of the pages being the same size. The number of pages (front and back being two pages) must be a multiple of four. The bleed for magazine and comic pages are a little different as well. Make sure to have at least two
to three millimeters or about an 1/8th of an inch of bleed on each side except for the edge that is in contact with the spine of the book. That edge will be as it is seen in the final print. For example, the left side of the cover will be flush in the print. The interior cover's left side will be flush. For example, the US standard size for a comic book is 6.625 inches by 10.25 inches. So the file should be about 7X10.5.
